1/18 Porsche 901 Coupe Beige #1150 CMC M-067C -pre-owned

Description
Today I am offering the collection of a former CMC dealer and long-time collector of these beautiful models. Almost all of them are in mint condition in their original packaging with all accessories as shown in my photos. If the model had leather straps to close the hoods, these were never opened. In many cases, the security stickers are still present. Everything should be clearly visible in the photos. One or two original packages may show signs of storage.
You will receive an invoice according to §25a UstG without showing the statutory VAT for used goods.
Not suitable for children under 14 years. May contain small and pointed parts
On September 12, 1963, Porsche presented the Type 901 at the IAA in Frankfurt as the successor to the Porsche 356. A year later, the model - now ready for series production - was presented to the public at the Paris Motor Show. Peugeot intervened and prohibited the Porsche designation "901" due to the protected zero in the middle of their own type designations.
By the time Porsche reacted, exactly 82 series vehicles with the type designation "901" had left the factory from September 14, 1964, the day production began. After that, the "901" became the "911" - the three-digit number sequence that became a legend and still makes every sports car enthusiast's heart beat faster today.
Porsche had already been thinking about the body shape in the 1950s. The ultimately realized design was developed by Porsche's son Ferdinand Alexander. With his clear and simply beautiful design, he achieved a line that corresponded exactly to the zeitgeist of the 1960s - and still has an impact today. Ferry Porsche was absolutely right when he once said: "This type shaped the unmistakable character of the Porsche sports car." Even little boys dream of owning a "Nine-Eleven" one day. If they couldn't afford one, friends would at least give them a miniature for their birthday, which would then take pride of place on the shelf.
Meanwhile, the 901 or 911 has its firm place in Olympus. For all those who still dream of it - and of course all model fans - CMC now offers the 901 as a wonderfully beautiful miniature, handcrafted from 971 parts - and thus finally a model that does justice to the original.
