How it all began
In 2006, at the age of 42, I returned to my childhood hobby of collecting model cars. However, the model car market had changed a lot in more than 20 years. I began to build a model car collection across all scales and manufacturers.

The discovery of CMC
By chance, I eventually bought my first model from the CMC – Classic Model Cars – a brand I had never heard of before. Since the models immediately captivated me with their absolutely fantastic level of detail (many moving and opening parts) and their superb craftsmanship, many models in my collection subsequently had to be put away.
I converted my collection almost entirely to CMC models, which I still enjoy today and continue to add every model to my collection. It's still incredible to me that in this 1/18 scale, it's possible to assemble a model car with well over 2,000 individual parts by hand. Some collectors may complain about the rising prices. The models certainly aren't cheap – but they're affordable!
In my opinion, the CMC team has achieved a fantastic balancing act here. In this regard, my full praise goes to the entire CMC team, led by their boss, Ms. Shuxiao Jia. Please keep it up! Handcrafted diecast seems to me to be and will remain the ultimate in excellence.
My shop – fair & personal
But back to me and my shop. Actually, we (the collector who buys from me and I as the shop owner) don't need general terms and conditions. I'm a collector myself and handle complaints, including the defects that are bound to occur with these high-quality models, just as I would expect and want to. Returns and possible exchanges are possible. We will always find a solution!
First and foremost, I'm still a collector with a family. Nevertheless, I would like to get the models ordered from me to the waiting collector as quickly as possible. However, I ask for your patience if the shipment doesn't arrive immediately the next day. Due to my work (unfortunately, the margins on model cars aren't sufficient enough for me to make a living from it), I can only pack the models in the evening and have DHL pick them up the following day. Therefore, I apologize for any delays. I will inform the buyer in such cases.

I'd also be happy to purchase your well-maintained collection if you'd like to give up your passion for collecting. I'll always pay a fair price—as I said, I'm a collector myself. If your collection includes models from other high-quality manufacturers such as Exoto, GMP, Amalgam, Autoart, or similar, that's no problem. Please just contact me through my shop.
