Today I am offering the collection of a former CMC dealer and long-time collector of these beautiful models. Almost all of them are in new condition in their original packaging with all accessories as shown in my photos. If the model had leather straps to close the bonnets, these were never opened. In many cases, the security stickers are still present. Everything should be clearly visible in the photos. One or two original packages may show signs of storage.
You will receive an invoice according to §25a UstG without showing the statutory value added tax for used goods.
Not suitable for children under 14 years. May contain small and sharp parts.
The classic Mercedes-Benz Silver Arrows will forever remain highly revered icons of the 1930s. Race cars such as the W25, W125, W154, and W165, as well as drivers like Manfred von Brauchitsch, Rudolf Caracciola, and Hermann Lang, were at the forefront of international racing at the time. Not quite as prominent, but equally influential in shaping public perception, were the racing transporters. Wherever the blue trucks with the "Mercedes-Benz Rennabteilung" lettering appeared, they impressively underscored the brand's commitment to competition. The replica of a 1930s racing transporter, which Mercedes kindly provided us with, serves as a template for CMC in the development and reproduction of the miniature.
The Mercedes-Benz racing transporters, with their 65 hp diesel engines, played their part in the success of the Silver Arrows in the 1930s by bringing the race cars to the Grand Prix tracks on time, ensuring the supply chain from the factory, and serving as workshop vehicles. Sometimes they were also used as presentation vehicles. After great successes, they would display the victorious Silver Arrows to the enthusiastic public with their tarpaulins pulled down. For important races, a veritable fleet of transporters was in use – yet none of the vehicles have survived. This all the more motivates us to revive these historic transporters of the Mercedes Silver Arrows in the form of an authentically reproduced CMC high-end model.
