Mercedes-Benz truck LO 2750 flatbed truck yellow red CMC M-169

Description
After overcoming the global economic crisis at the end of the 1920s, a new industrial awakening was evident everywhere. Daimler-Benz AG, with its commercial vehicle plant in Gaggenau, also developed new, innovative transport vehicles that impressed primarily with their cost-effectiveness and technical reliability. The introduction of diesel-powered trucks was considered a revolution in the truck market.
Derived from our LO 2750 racing transporter, we would now like to introduce you to a thoroughbred 2.5-ton flatbed truck, the LO 2750. This robust and compact Mercedes-Benz truck, with its fuel-efficient 65 hp diesel engine, was an extremely popular transport vehicle in the 1930s, especially for medium-sized and smaller companies. With its large and easily accessible loading area and a payload of 2.5 tons, this truck performed virtually all transport tasks with ease. Between 1933 and 1936, nearly 3,500 diesel-powered LO 2750 trucks left the Daimler-Benz factory gates in the Northern Black Forest.
We present a two-tone standard version of this successful model from that era, featuring an open loading platform. The fold-down tail lifts are made of real wood. A beautifully designed cab and an authentically reproduced 4-cylinder diesel engine under the removable hood complete this masterpiece of model engineering.
