Description
The model comes from an estate. The collector was one of the very first fans of CMC models. All models were kept in dustproof wall display cases custom-made by a carpenter. Please view all pictures to see what you are getting. Most models are in absolute top condition in their original packaging with all papers. The boxes may show signs of storage, especially those of the older models.
Not suitable for children under 14 years. May contain small and pointed parts.
The Maserati 300S is one of the most successful racing cars of its time.
A significant part of its success can certainly be attributed to its powerful engine, which is related to the 250F's Formula 1 powertrain. J.M. Fangio could already rely on this engine and celebrated the world championship with the 250F in 1957.
Stirling Moss also trusted the three-liter six-cylinder engine in the Maserati 300S, with which he won the 1000 km endurance race at the Nürburgring in 1956.
