Ferrari 275 GTB/C #98 Chassis 09051 silver from 1966 CMC M-211 LE

Description
“The 6th of 12 Ferrari 275 GTB/Cs built went to the Gooding Peabble Beach auction and was estimated at approximately $12 to $16 million.”
The above headline garnered widespread attention on July 20, 2017. It referred to the upcoming auction of Ferrari GTB/C chassis 09051, a racing car that has been dubbed “one of the finest Ferrari Berlinettas ever.”
In 1966, Ferrari launched a new version of the 275 GTB, renaming this series the 275 GTB/C. Twelve 275 GTB/C cars were built by Ferrari's racing department in Maranello, and eight of them, including chassis 09051, were left-hand drive.
Delivered on June 12, 1966, chassis 09051 successfully participated in more than 20 races between 1966 and 1970. In the hands of its first two owners, Renzo Sinidaldi and Alberto Federici, it achieved numerous class and overall victories. At the 2007 Pebble Beech Concours d'Elegance, chassis 09051 was awarded second place. At the 2017 auction, chassis 09051 was ultimately sold for $14,520,000.
CMC will recreate this powerful race car in its original silver metallic livery with starting number 98, just as it did at its first race and auction in 2017.
