The eight-cylinder in-line engine is a powerplant like the one found in our Bugatti 57 SC Atlantic Coupé and the Bugatti 57 SC Corsica Roadster or Corsica Sport.
A straightforward, modern basic concept was typical of Bugatti engine construction even at the time. These characteristics were consistently implemented in this engine type as well. A Roots-type supercharger gave the three-liter engine a remarkable output of approximately 200 hp. For the time, this power output gave the driver the confidence needed to respond confidently to all driving situations.
Our beautiful unit, assembled by hand with delicate parts, is a wonderful addition to any model car collection.
