Anyone who claims that a model is only worth seeing and perfect with a flawless paint job may have to correct themselves after looking at our unpainted “rough diamond”.
In its unpainted version, the Corsica has a charisma that is simply impressive.
People often use the expression “the paint is off” to express that what is underneath is not always in the best condition.
CMC has no need to worry in this regard. Everything that emerges from the Corsica is honest, traditional craftsmanship. Our components are made from solid materials. In addition to the basic material, a zinc injection-molded alloy, CMC processes non-ferrous metals such as copper and brass, as well as stainless steel in the form of hoods, floor panels, cover parts, trim strips, and other parts. Furthermore, the aforementioned model features genuine leather (seats, door side panels), high-quality rubber (tires), aluminum and stainless steel wire (rims/spokes), and textiles for floor coverings.
Of course, CMC cannot do without plastics, which are processed to a limited extent in high quality, primarily in drive train components.
For permanent protection against natural material discoloration or the development of patina, all model surfaces in this limited special edition are sealed with a clear varnish.
