Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato 'Goodwood green' CMC M-150 PRE-OWNED

Description
What defines the Aston's history? In short, the Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato was and remains, more than ever, an exclusive and highly sought-after sports car worldwide. With his soft design language and famous curves, Gianni Zagato mastered the art of crafting a body that simply captivates. Interestingly, the 19 original vehicles built all differed to a greater or lesser extent in details, as Zagato often took customer requests into account.
Aston Martin's goal was to become more competitive in racing against the then dominant Ferrari 250 GT / SWB, or even to win.
Zagato was famous for the exceptionally lightweight construction of its bodies. Through clever material selection (e.g., thin aluminum panels), the omission of decorative elements, and unnecessary luxury, he managed to shave another 100 kg off the DB4 GT. But even this "radical treatment" did not lead to the desired sporting success for the Astons, which ultimately competed with 314 hp. Even the two Zagato coupés with the registration numbers "1 EV" and "2 EV" of the English racing team Essex Racing Stable, which participated in the 1961 24 Hours of Le Mans, failed and could not break the dominance of Ferrari with the 250 GT / SWB.
Even famous drivers such as Jim Clark, Roy Salvadori and Innes Ireland had to acknowledge Ferrari's dominance in subsequent races in the AM DB4 GT Zagato.
CMC based its model on the 19 original DB4 GT Zagatos and chose the “Goodwood Green” paint scheme.
