1:18 Mercedes-Benz Racing Transporter "The Blue Wonder" 1954/55 REVISED VERSION CMC M-143 -pre-owned-

Description
The "Blue Wonder" has been one of our bestsellers for years. It's no wonder, considering the model's aesthetic appearance and its diverse technology. High-quality materials and perfect craftsmanship, coupled with the deep blue high-gloss paintwork, combine to create a collector's item of a special class. We want to put an end to the long period of model sale. For our new edition, based on newly discovered old original photos, we were able to include various exterior details as additional accessories. These include chrome-plated hubcaps, a raised Mercedes star on the front of the vehicle, and orange lenses for the auxiliary headlights. Stone guards on the rear fenders, rear license plate lighting including two reflectors, and an oval "D" country code plate on the rear bumper complete the add-on package.
The new model will be delivered during 2016. Ultimately, the W 196 Streamline and Monoposto, 300 SLR Mille Miglia, and Uhlenhaut Coupé will be transported to their respective locations.
The Blue Wonder
In 1954, the Daimler-Benz test department created a unique, handcrafted vehicle: the Mercedes-Benz racing transporter. With its deep blue paintwork, softly curved bodywork, and a top speed of 170 km/h, the "blue wonder" attracted as much attention as the W196 and 300 SLR racing cars on its back.
When Daimler-Benz withdrew from racing at the end of 1955, the racing transporter also disappeared from public view and was unfortunately scrapped in 1967.
It wasn't until the early 1990s that Daimler-Benz remembered its gem and had it resurrected as an identical replica under the direction of the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center.
