Today I am offering the collection of a former CMC dealer and  long-time collector of these beautiful models. Almost all of them are in new condition in their original packaging with all accessories as shown in my photos. If the model had leather straps to close the hoods, these were never opened. In many cases, the security stickers are still present. Everything should be clearly visible in the photos. One or two original packaging boxes may show signs of storage.

You will receive an invoice according to §25a UstG without showing the statutory value-added tax for used goods.

Not suitable for children under 14 years. May contain small and sharp parts

For years, the "Blue Wonder" has been one of our bestsellers. No wonder, considering the aesthetic appearance of the model and once you've become acquainted with its diverse technology. High-quality materials and perfect craftsmanship, paired with the deep blue high-gloss paint finish, add up to a collector's item of a special class. We want to put an end to the long period of the model being sold out. For our new edition, we were able to incorporate various external details as supplementary accessories based on newly discovered, old original photos. These include, for example, chrome-plated wheel covers, an embossed Mercedes star on the front of the vehicle, and orange-colored lenses for the auxiliary headlights. Furthermore, stone chip protection plates on the rear fenders, a rear license plate light including two reflectors, and an oval country identification plate "D" on the rear bumper complete the supplementary package.

The new edition of the model will be delivered in the course of 2016. After all, the W 196 Streamline and Monoposto, 300 SLR Mille Miglia and Uhlenhaut Coupé need to be transported to their deployment locations.

The Blue Wonder

In 1954, a handcrafted unique piece was created in the Daimler-Benz experimental department: the Mercedes-Benz racing transporter. With its deep blue paintwork, the softly curved shapes of the bodywork, and a top speed of 170 km/h, "the blue wonder" attracted as much attention as the W196 and 300 SLR racing cars on its loading area.
When Daimler-Benz withdrew from racing at the end of 1955, the racing transporter also disappeared from public view and was unfortunately scrapped in 1967.
It wasn't until the early 1990s that Daimler-Benz remembered its gem and had it resurrected as an identical replica under the direction of the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center.

Note:

The model is delivered WITHOUT piggyback racing car!
