1:18 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa #22 Pontoon Fender CMC M-080 from pre-ownership
Description
Limited to only 3,000 pieces / Hand-assembled from 1,650 parts
May we introduce you to "Lucybelle" ? That's what the racing flatbed with chassis number 0732 was affectionately called during its racing heyday.
The first owner, Ed Hugus, an American, had the Testa Rossa painted in the American international racing color of white with a double blue racing stripe. Admittedly, an unusual appearance for a Ferrari. But judge for yourself: His outfit is captivatingly beautiful.
Reason enough for us to create a limited edition of 3,000 units of this famous racing car worldwide.
One of the greatest sporting successes of this race-proven car was a seventh place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1958, which the driver team Ed Hugus/Ernie Erickson achieved brilliantly with the starting number 22 against tough competition.
The CMC model represents the current state of today.
Harmonious curves underscore the perfect design of the body. The two racing stripes and the starting number form an interesting contrast to the flawless paintwork.
The two auxiliary headlights are a reference to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Otherwise, the quality standards and authentic detailing are consistent with the already familiar standard model (item no. M-071).
