1:18 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa #22 Pontoon Fender CMC M-080 #0365/3000 -used-
Description
The model comes from an estate. The collector was one of the very first fans of CMC models. All models were kept in dust-proof wall display cases custom-made by a carpenter. Please view all pictures to see what you are getting. Most models are in absolute top condition in their original packaging with all papers. The boxes may show signs of storage, especially those of the older models.
Not suitable for children under 14 years. May contain small and sharp parts
Limited to only 3,000 pieces / Hand-assembled from 1,650 parts
May we introduce you to “Lucybelle”? This was the affectionate name given to the racing flounder with chassis no. 0732 during its heyday in racing.
The first owner Ed Hugus, an American, had the Testa Rossa painted in the American international racing color white with a blue double racing stripe. Admittedly, an unusual appearance for a Ferrari. But judge for yourself: its outfit is of captivating beauty.
Reason enough for us to reproduce a limited edition of 3,000 pieces worldwide of this famous racing car.
One of the greatest sporting achievements of this race-proven bolide was a seventh place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1958, which the driver team Ed Hugus/Ernie Erickson achieved with car number 22 against the toughest competition.
The CMC model represents the current condition today.
Harmonious curves emphasize the perfect design of the body. The two racing stripes and the start number form an interesting contrast to the flawless paintwork.
The two auxiliary headlights are an attribute to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Otherwise, the quality standard and the true-to-original detailing correspond to the already known standard model (Art. No. M-071).
