1:18 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS Mille Miglia #84 Tazio Nuvolari CMC M-141 -pre-owned-
Description
Today, I am offering the collection of a former CMC dealer and long-time collector of these beautiful models. Almost all of them are in new condition, in their original packaging, with all accessories as shown in my photos. If the model has leather straps to secure the hoods, these have never been opened. In many cases, the security stickers are still present. Everything should be clearly visible in the photos. One or two original packages may show signs of storage.
You will receive an invoice according to §25a UstG without showing the statutory VAT for used goods.
Not suitable for children under 14 years. May contain small and sharp parts.
Model History:
In 1930 and 1931, the Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS competed in the Mille Miglia. The red headlights have since become the well-known distinguishing feature of the series. According to legend, pilot Tazio Nuvolari turned them off at night to sneak up on his arch-rival Achile Varzi. Nuvolari is said to have switched the headlights back on shortly after him and inevitably sped towards victory. These "Red Diablo Eyes" were, at least officially, not planned. Rather, the red Plexiglas covers were intended to optimize the aerodynamics of the pre-war sports car.
