1:18 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS Mille Miglia #84 Tazio Nuvolari CMC M-141 -pre-owned-
Description
I've displayed this model in my display case since its launch. It comes in its original packaging, in mint condition, with all accessories. VAT is included.
In 1930 and 1931, the Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS version competed in the Mille Miglia. The red headlights have been the series' universally recognized trademark ever since. Legend has it that driver Tazio Nuvolari turned them off at night to sneak up on his arch-rival Achile Varzi. Nuvolari is said to have then switched them back on shortly after him and inevitably sped off to victory. These red diabolo eyes were not planned, at least not officially. Rather, the red Plexiglas covers were intended to optimize the aerodynamics of the pre-war sports car.
